John 3:16, does not tell anyone that they're going right to heaven when they die. Why, because you can have eternal life in either of two places. Heaven or hell. No, read the rest of the paragraph. For verse 16 is only the first verse of a 6 verse paragraph, 16-21, and remember it is ALL scripture. Of course as a bible christian you're not taught all of this, you can't be and still keep on lying about the words of Christ. The verses 17-21 teach about a judgement based on deeds, sometimes called works. Doing good is our living witness, our response to God, and without it "Good Luck". But as you've been taught you can't "buy" your way to heaven. No one has ever taught that BS, regardless of the lies you've been told. Show me that from the source, not from an accuser. You cannot.
By the way," confessing with your lips" is a deed, or work, something you do.
